{"id":482,"date":"2016-05-18T16:16:18","date_gmt":"2016-05-18T14:16:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.testrange5.se\/?page_id=482"},"modified":"2020-12-09T14:46:06","modified_gmt":"2020-12-09T13:46:06","slug":"ontech-control-terms","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.ontechcontrol.com\/en\/ontech-control-terms\/","title":{"rendered":"Terms &#038; conditions for Ontech Control"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>Terms and conditions for Ontech Control<\/h1>\n<h3>1 Introduction<\/h3>\n<h4>1.1 Definitions<\/h4>\n<p><strong>The company<\/strong> refers to Onvako AB organization number 556944-1040 in Sweden and with website www.ontechgsm.com.<br \/>\n<strong>User<\/strong> refers to the person who registered account on Ontech Control<br \/>\n<strong>The service<\/strong> refers to the service and interfaces (Ontech Control) company provides for communicating with Ontech devices via GPRS in the GSM network.<br \/>\n<strong>User account<\/strong> refers to the account the user registers on the company&#8217;s website.<br \/>\n<strong>SIM card<\/strong> refers to the SIM card the company provides to use the service<br \/>\n<strong>Subscription<\/strong> refers to the right to use the service for each SIM card. The subscription is active if the subscription fee has been paid.<\/p>\n<h4>1.2 Overview<\/h4>\n<p>This document sets out the terms and conditions for using the Ontech Control service. By agreeing to these terms when creating an account for Ontech Control, the user has agreed to the terms. Terms may change over time.<\/p>\n<h4>1.3 Notification of changes to terms and conditions<\/h4>\n<p>Notice of changes to these terms will be sent by email to all users with active subscriptions. The changes will come into effect next time the subscription is renewed. If the changes are not accepted, the subscription will not be renewed. In that case, the terms and conditions that the user previously agreed to.<\/p>\n<h3>2 The Service<\/h3>\n<h4>2.1 Subscription Period<\/h4>\n<p>The subscriptions\u00a0is paid for one year (365 days) at a time and in advance. Number of subscription days may be reduced by using SMS (see below) .<\/p>\n<h4>2.2 Geographical scope<\/h4>\n<p>The service is valid for use in all countries within the European Union, Norway and Switzerland. If the service is used in another country, the subscription will be canceled from the service. It can be re-activated against a fee (see item 8) .<\/p>\n<h4>2.3 Data Amount<\/h4>\n<p>The amount of the subscription refers to normal use. Exceeded this, the user will be notified by email. If this happens repeatedly, the subscription may be turned off. It can be re-activated against a fee (see paragraph 8) .<\/p>\n<h4>2.4 SMS<\/h4>\n<p>SMS notifications will reduce the remaining time of the subscription with three days for each sent SMS.<\/p>\n<h4>2.5 Information to users from the system<\/h4>\n<p>Information related to the user&#8217;s device will be sent to the email address the user registered . The user undertakes to access this information on a regular basis, as the information may be necessary to maintain system performance.<\/p>\n<h3>3 Changes to the system<\/h3>\n<p>The company reserves the right to change the system. Should such a change mean that the user can not use the service originally intended, the user has the right to cancel the subscription and receive a refund for the remaining number of days.<br \/>\nChanges to the service will be reported on the company&#8217;s website.<\/p>\n<h3>4 Incorrect use<\/h3>\n<h4>4.1 Hacking, virus etc<\/h4>\n<p>The user may not attempt to &#8220;hack&#8221; into the system or release viruses or similar in the service servers. The user also agrees to keep his computer \/ tablet \/ mobile phone clean from viruses and other malware. Should this not happen, the subscription may be closed. It can be re-activated against a fee (see paragraph 8) .<\/p>\n<h4>4.2 Communication with Ontech devices<\/h4>\n<p>The user may only use Ontech Controls web interface to communicate with the device. Should this not happen, the subscription may be closed. It can be re-activated against a fee (see item 8).<br \/>\nIf you want a custom interface, please contact the company.<\/p>\n<h4>4.3 Using the SIM card in other devices<\/h4>\n<p>Users may not use SIM cards in any other device (mobile phone, modem, tablets, etc.). The SIM card will then close. It can be re-activated against a fee (see paragraph 8) .<\/p>\n<h3>5 Handling of personal data<\/h3>\n<p>The company undertakes to comply with \u00a0 the General Data Protection Regulation\u00a0(GDPR) (EU) 2016\/679. This means that the company will not disclose any personal data to third parties without the consent of the user and will not use the data for purposes other than those required by the service.<br \/>\nNewsletters will be sent to the email address the user registered if they are not declined.<\/p>\n<h3>6 Handling of collected data<\/h3>\n<p>The company will save data about devices, subscriptions and use of the service. These data are used to develop and improve the service.<br \/>\nCollected information may be used by third parties but will then be completely unidentified regarding name, email address and phone number.<br \/>\nIn other respects, the company undertakes to keep information unavailable to third parties.
